The hipecs-CIO103 module is a compact CANopen I/O system with 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs. However, its output technology differs significantly from the other I / O modules. The power drivers of the module can each drive 2 amperes on all 8 outputs simultaneously and permanently, so that in many applications, follow-on drivers can be dispensed with. (in example for magnetic valves, for relais, ...).

Setting of Node-ID and CAN baud rate is done using coding switches.

In this module the complex CANopen standards DS301 and DS401 are implemented. All usual baud rates up to 1 MBit are supported.
